Does my vehicle have to be in a certain condition to donate?
We take any and all vehicles regardless of condition. We just need title and keys.
How soon after I call does my vehicle get picked up?
We try to arrange pickup between 24-48 hours depending on your convenience and location.
Other than a car, what can I donate?
We take cars, trucks, SUV’s, motorcycles, and motorhomes. We can even take farm tractors and tractor trailers.
What kind of tax deduction will I receive?
At a minimum a donor can take up to $500.00. If the vehicle sells for more than $500.00 then the donor gets the larger amount as the tax write-off.
What if my vehicle has mechanical problems?
We take all vehicles regardless of mechanical problems.
What if I don't have a title?
Some states have titles, some do not. Depending on the state will dictate whether a title is needed to transfer ownership.
If my vehicle does not run, will you sell the parts?
All of the vehicles are sold regardless of their condition. Some are recycled for parts use, some are fixed up and put back into use, and some are roadworthy and excellent condition when picked up and are put back into service.
Do I have to be home for the pick-up?
You don’t have to be home for the pickup. In most cases you can leave the title and keys in the vehicle and we can pick it up.
Do I get a receipt when you pick up my vehicle?
A temporary receipt will be given at time of pickup. A final receipt will be sent after the vehicle is sold. This usually takes about 8 weeks.
What do I need to know before signing the title?
Signing the title is simple. All you have to do is sign in the correct space. If you don’t know where to sign the driver picking up the vehicle can show you where to sign.
If my vehicle has to be towed, who pays for it?
The vehicle will always be towed for safety purposes. The donor does not pay for this.
What areas do you serve?
We currently serve the entire 50 U.S. states plus Puerto Rico and Canada.
Who picks up the vehicle?
We have contracted towers throughout the country that will pick up and tow your vehicle back to our facility.
Can I donate an abandoned car?
In some states you can donate an abandoned car, in others you can’t. If you don’t know check with your state DMV or with us to be certain.
If the car belongs to a deceased person, can it still be donated?
Cars can still be donated if a person is deceased. Different states have different guidelines. Check with your state DMV or check with us to be certain.
What if my vehicle does not pass the emission test?
We take any and all vehicles regardless of condition even if they can’t pass emission test.
What do I do with the license plate after the donation?
Each state has different regulations regarding turning in license plates. Check with your state DMV or check with us to be certain.
